About HerpesVaccinations.com
HerpesVaccinations.com is a neutral, evidence-first tracker of herpes-simplex-virus (HSV) vaccine research. It exists to answer one question accurately and with citations: where does each herpes vaccine candidate actually stand?
Who runs this
This site is run and edited by Mark. Mark is not a physician or medical researcher — and that is deliberately not the point. The value here is careful, sourced reporting of what the evidence actually says, not clinical opinion. Every status claim is tied to a named source (see our methodology), so you can check the primary evidence yourself rather than take anyone's word for it. Being transparent about who stands behind the information — and about its limits — is part of how we earn trust in a topic where trust has often been abused.
Editorial policy
- Every status claim is sourced and dated. If we can't point to a credible source, it doesn't go on the page. See our methodology for the sourcing hierarchy.
- We report status, not hope. We don't promise timelines, rank candidates by promise, or use words like "cure" or "breakthrough."
- We sell nothing and promote no candidate. The site does not take money from developers, and carries no treatment advertising.
- We correct errors openly. When a fact changes or is shown wrong, we fix it and move the page's "last updated" date.
- This is information, not medical advice. For any decision about your own health, consult a qualified clinician.
